long story short:

Amin is a Moroccan-American writer, director, and composer born and raised in Casablanca. (He has somehow still never seen the movie Casablanca.) After attending the University of Pennsylvania, he moved to LA for his MFA in Writing for Screen and Television from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

He was most recently a writer for Spotify’s Parcast Studios, where he wrote, researched, and copy-edited for shows like Unsolved Murders, Disappearances with Sarah Turney, Mythology, and Supernatural with Ashley Flowers among others.

Before Spotify, he was a program coordinator for Film Independent, a production coordinator at Fullscreen Media, and worked under producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron on three Oscars telecasts, NBC's Live musical series, and other film, TV, and Broadway projects.

Amin is in post-production on KILLER PARTY, a horror-comedy-musical feature he co-created, co-composed, and co-directed.
